Aquanauts: Deep Sea Rescue

What happens when a group of indie filmmakers decide to make their first game?  We enter a jam!

Aquanauts: Deep Sea Rescue is a proof of concept for an immersive adventure game that was originally created for the Epic Megajam 2021 with the theme 'running out of space'.

Naturally our focus was to create an immersive story world, which we invite you to enter!   We have created a prototype level for the game and have been inspired to develop it further for both PC and VR platforms, so your feedback is very much appreciated.

The story:
"10 minutes ago,  major seismic activity was detected on the sea bed near the Deep Sea Research Institution,  Tranquility Base.  Tranquility appears to have suffered major damage because the evacuation protocol was triggered. All personnel are currently ascending to the surface in escape pods . As far as we can tell from here, there appears to be a cascade event in progress. 

Your mission is to recover the computer core which contains critical data.

Repeat, this is a salvage mission only, Get in, get the data, get out! "

Oxygen is running out, time is running out, the base is flooding rapidly. As you look for the computer core you hear a cry for help. 

This is no longer a salvage mission. It's a rescue. Or is it?

A = Left
S = Right
D = Left
Space = Jump
